10 Books That Will Change Your Life

2014/09/16 17

Today, I would like to share with you 10 Books that have changed my life, and I hope they will change your life too.

1. Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch

I’ve read this book recently, and I must say it became my all time favorite. Read this book with an open mind and re-read it a couple of times. I actually wish I had read this book earlier!

2. Who Ordered This Truckload of Dung by Ajahn Brahm

This book is a collection of inspiring stories of overcoming life’s difficulties. If you’re going through a tough time in your life, then go and get this book. It’s simply an incredible piece of work. I’ve been listening to Ajahn Brahm’s talks on YouTube for a long time now, but I like this book even more. It has so many stories that will resonate with you, and it will help you to find a detachment from your problem. I’ve recommended this book to everyone I know!

3. Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

I read this book four years ago and since then I’ve been very interested in spirituality. It’s a great way to begin your spiritual journey. I highly recommend to read it if you’re at any age, especially if you are a teen. Wonderful and inspiring story with a deep knowledge.

4. Mindfulness for Beginners by Jon Kabat-Zinn

If you’re having a hard time living in the moment and your mind is constantly in the past or future, then this book is for you. Such an eye opening book about how to live in the present moment.

5. Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

Every helpful book for overcoming life’s disappointments, being free and just staying happy. It’s a very quick read as well.

6. Fear by Thich Nhat Hanh

I love all the books by Thich Nhat Hanh, but this one is my favorite. I would recommend it to anyone who is struggling with overcoming fears.

7. China Study by Colin Campbell

In my opinion, the best book about nutrition. It has greatly influenced my way of eating, and I recommend it to everyone who wants to learn about food.

8. Inner Game of Stress by Timothy Gallwey

If you are prone to stress, please read this book. It has helped me so much with managing my stress. I think it’s so important to get an understanding of how stress affects our bodies, before it’s too late!

9. The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer

Another excellent book for those who are on a spiritual journey. It has opened my eyes to so many new ideas. What I love most about it is how well it’s written.

10. Buddha in Blue Jeans by Tai Sheridan.

What a great tiny book. It’s so small but has so much wisdom. If you want to change your life now start by reading this book. I’ve re-read it around five times.

Please read and encourage others to read because a good book can change your lives. Tell me in the comments, your favorite books!

I love the China Study! It is truly eye-opening, and kind of shocking to be quite honest. I just can’t say no to meat forever unfortunately, but I can moderate how often I eat it. Thanks for this great list of books!
