The Imitation Game + I’m back

Hi Everyone, Long time no posts. I am very sorry, but I am finally back to blogging. I have completely redesigned my website, making it comfortable for reading and viewing photos. Today, I would like to talk to you about a movie: The Imitation Game. I've just seen it today, and I must admit I was blown away by it. I haven't watched such a good movie in a very long time. The directing, acting, the script is absolutely phenomenal. It reminded me of how much I love filmmaking and how it can influence millions of people everywhere. Simple Technique To Stop Procrastinating And Get Things Done

Today is Monday, meaning the beginning of another week. For some this is the day to go back to work, to school, start exercising, work on a new project, and so on. Most of us face a procrastination on day to day basis. We procrastinate to write our thesis paper, go to the gym, begin homework, etc. Procrastination is the voice in our minds that we listen to, and that voice is a barrier to success. To get things done, we need to stop listening to that voice. It doesn’t matter if you are a student, an athlete or a blogger, we all face the exact same problem.

Last year, procrastination hit me hard, because I became an online high schooler, and I had to learn how to manage my time well and limit any distractions.  If you are an online high schooler, then you know how easy it is to get distracted and hard it is to get things done. That’s when I started to read many articles and watch videos about procrastination, while procrastinating; it felt like a vicious circle. A month later, I came across a very motivating quote that have helped me tremendously with managing my procrastination. How to handle stress and calm yourself down

Stress has become a “normal” part of our lives. From the days of elementary school students are taught to be afraid to get a bad grade. Most of us live in fear or worry on a daily basis. We stress about big things like school, job, family and we stress about small things like missing a train or being stuck in traffic.

It seems like everywhere we go stress is somewhere to get us. Ultimately, you are stressed because of your thought pattern. Notice, so many of us are uncomfortable with being alone with their thoughts, and we always think about something. We are constantly in a “go go” mode, and we forget to relax. 

If you are currently feeling stressed, don’t worry, there are ways for you to feel more relaxed. All of us need to come to an understanding that we can’t be pumping adrenaline into our blood every day. It’s very dangerous for our bodies. If you are interesting in reading in depth about how stress affects, our body read “Why zebras don’t get ulcers” or ”Inner Game of Stress.” These books have changed my whole outlook on stress and how to handle it.

How to choose what to study in University/College (5 Steps)

It’s this time of the year again when senior high school students and others apply to colleges. Making a decision about what to study in college or university can be very stressful and tough. I went through this process last year, and I would like to share with you five steps that I took when I was making my decision. I hope you will find an answer to your question by following these steps. Step 1: Ask yourself what you see yourself doing in the future? It’s ok if you don’t have a specific answer to this question right now, think about a field where you see yourself in. For example, you might see yourself in the field of science or business. Write down your answer. If you can’t make a decision on just one area of study, then write down as many as you have in mind. Please, be honest with yourself, and at this moment don’t think about what your family or relatives want to see you doing in the future. It’s you, who are making the final decision, so think about what YOU want to do. I’ve met many unhappy students who are studying in college something that they didn’t want to study, and they picked that major only because their parents told them so. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t take your family’s opinions into consideration; you should because they want the best for you. However, it’s your life, and you need to be satisfied with the decision you are making because it’s going to affect your future. If nothing comes to your mind, then just jot down a list of jobs and imagine yourself actually doing this job and see if this technique will help you find the answer. If you are feeling happy and excited imagining yourself doing a particular job, then that’s a great sign. (more…)
